DATE COOKIES AND CUSTARD

11. Cut each Date Cookie into halves.
32. In a stainless steel saucepan, put the milk, custard and sugar. Whisk until the sugar dissolves. Put on low heat and stir with a wooden spoon for 5 minuets until the custard thickens.
53. Pour the custard into 12 small dessert dishes. Place the Date Cookies on the custard.
74. Refrigerate the custard for one hour. Garnish with pistachio and serve.
Quick preparation: put the custard in a large serving dish. Put the cookies without cutting.
